Cliche I know.....

...but time does fly when you're having fun. Since my last blog, I have been back to Michigan, played and traveled in the cold and snow of Michigan with my kids and grandkids, visited my sister and her family, presented at ESLA at CMU, was delayed returning to Doha by a monster snowstorm, brought my baby kangaroo (Joey) back to Qatar with me, found out I AM presenting at TESOL Arabia in Dubai in March, have been following the stirrings of a brave new world (meaning changes in our region of the world, namely Tunis, Egypt, Bahrain, Libya, etc.) started a new semester (with another amazing group of young men!), went exploring seaside ruins, went fishing and swimming, saw a DUGONG, got a cool performance bonus in my salary, and have just been loving life!

I am sorry I haven't kept up the blog, but I do most of my communicating and updates through Facebook and Skype. If you want to really keep up on my life here, your best bet is to get on Facebook. If that is too iffy for you, consider Skype. We can chat that way. Or simply send me an e-mail and ask. If you ask, I can also send you links to my Facebook photos (you can see them without being signed up for Facebook). I'll send and answer, though maybe not in the depth you might get if you were on Facebook.

I am getting ready to plan my trip and presentation for TESOL Arabia in Dubai on March 11. So, the next couple of weekends will be busy. I'll put up a few photos of our recent doings since I last updated and links to my Facebook albums.
